Here is exactly what you are giving DailyAiBrief permission to do.

• Read your inbox

  Access message text, sender details, subjects and labels to show your email and build inbox statistics.

• Manage messages yourself

  Mark messages read or unread, archive them, or move them to Trash using explicit controls. Gmail normally permanently deletes Trash after 30 days. Opening a message alone changes nothing.

• Stay connected between visits

  Offline access lets us refresh your connection. Daily AI processing runs only if you separately enable it in Settings.

Google's gmail.modify permission lets DailyAiBrief read and manage email. The Google scope also permits sending, but this app offers no sending or permanent-delete operation. AI is off until you configure a provider and authorize sending email excerpts to it in Settings.

If Google reports unexpected extra permissions, remove this app in Google Account connections before connecting again.
