A clearer path through your inbox.
Familiar email. A little more perspective. Here is how DailyAiBrief fits into your day.
Connect the inbox you already use
Choose your Google account and review the Gmail permissions. We use Google OAuth, so you never share your Google password with us. Offline access keeps the connection available between visits using a refresh token.
Read and organize in one place
Browse recent inbox messages, search the messages you have loaded, and read them in a plain-text view. Mark messages read or unread and archive them when you choose. Archive has an Undo action. Changes sync to Gmail.
Turn on AI when you are ready
AI processing is optional and off by default. With your separate consent, our private AI service reads up to 10 recent inbox messages and returns a summary, suggested priorities and category counts. We use a limited excerpt of each message, so a brief is a starting point, not a complete reading of every email.
The app does not send your email to a third-party AI provider. AI does not execute instructions in email, send messages, or change labels. Review the original message before making a decision.
Choose a daily rhythm
Enable automatic daily briefs in Settings to authorize background reading through our scheduled service. You can also generate a brief yourself. Full inbox totals and statistics for the reviewed messages are labeled separately.
Why we request Gmail modify access
The scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify is necessary to mark messages read/unread and archive them. Read-only permission would not support these features. Google's scope also permits composing and sending, but this app does not provide those actions or permanently delete email.
Disconnect anytime
Settings includes a control to revoke access and delete your app data. You can also remove access directly in your Google Account connections.
